LUCKY STARS Intermediate
In this class we will learn how to read & follow a pattern, review cutting & construction techniques, introduce you to folded corners, square down a block & learn how to select fabrics for a scrappy quilt. A short tour of the shop covering the differences in fabric groupings (civil war, batiks, 30's, Asian, etc) will be covered in the first class. The sample is lap size, but you can choose your size from baby to king.

LITTLE CHARMERS Beginners
This little jumper can be created with charm packs or assorted coordinating 5" fabric squares. The jumper has shoulder straps that crisscross at the back and button at the front. Embellish seams by adding lace, rick rack or vintage trim for unique detailing. The pattern covers sizes 2-6. Our sample was made from one charm pack featuring the "Everything but the Kitchen Sink" fabric. A total of 78 - 5" squares were used in this jumper.

This unique design is made by using Drunkards Path templates. Pam uses a chart she designed to make the layout and construction of the quilt go together with ease. PJ SATURDAY Beginners
Choose flannel or just some cute cotton and spend the day sewing your self (or favorite child) a pair of PJ's. Our sample is an adult size large. And our pattern is multi sized and from KWIK SEW. The patterns sizes are Adult (XS-S-M-L-XL) $9.99, KIDS (T1-T2-T3-T4) $8.99, or (7-8-10-12-14) $9.49.

FIVE YARD QUILT Beginners
This class is designed for the beginner quilter. The quilt is named "Five Yard Quilt" because it takes five - one yard cuts of fabric to make the top. In class we will cover rotary cutting, accurate quarter inch sewing, strip and chain piecing, and border application. We will cut and sew the quilt in class with some sewing as homework between classes. The class just covers piecing the top only. We recommend the class "Five Yard - Machine Quilting" for the quilting of the top. Quilt size is 52"x68". Pattern is included in the class.

KWIK & EASY JACKET Beginners
This jacket is made with dolman sleeves and is reversible. Choose to make your jacket with a V-neckline or with wide lapels and a shaped bottom edge. Our sample is a size large (you may try it on) and is made from batiks.

SCRAP RENOVATIONS Intermediate
The blocks in this quilt are made using the "Stack the Deck" style. You stack your fabric, then slice and sew back together. Next size down the block and you are on your way. One more cut, shuffle, and sew together again. Now put together into rows and you have a beautiful, truly scrappy quilt. Quilt size is 64"x89".

COLORSPLASH TRIP AROUND THE WORLD Intermediate
This quilt adds a new twist to an old-time favorite. It is easier to make than it looks. The hardest part is picking the fabric so that the color washes across the quilt. That is why the first class is dedicated to fabric selection. There is a lot of sewing time with this quilt so we have one month between the classes to allow for your sewing.
Pattern is from the book "ColorSplash Trip Around the World" by Piecemakers ($12.00) and can be made in wall - king sizes. The sample is a queen with a pillow tuck.

FIVE YARD - MACHINE QUILTING Beginners
In this class we will spray baste a completed top from our Five Yard Quilt pattern. We will then stitch in the ditch to stabilize the quilt and then practice free motion quilt. Information on quilting and battings will be covered, along with a demo on applying bindings. You must have a completed "Five Yard Quilt" top to take this class. You do not have to have taken the "Five Yard Quilt" class to take part in this one.

OPTICAL ILLUSIONS Intermediate
In this quilt the range of colors from light to dark and the zigzag placement create the feeling of depth. The blocks are strip pieced then cut on the diagonal on the 60 degree mark of your ruler.
